Winter heating, silent risks: why we added Aegis CO Sense

Carbon monoxide does not knock before it enters. It arrives with ordinary things we rely on—boilers that have worked for years, a portable heater on a cold week, a blocked flue nobody noticed yet.

Ceiling-mounted alarm in a home

That is why “smart home” for us is not only about falls and night-time peace; it is also about the air you cannot see.

Aegis CO Sense is our answer in plain hardware: an electrochemical sensor, voice prompts that use whole sentences instead of mystery beeps, and optional routing to family view only if you choose it.

Panic-shaped products train people to ignore them—we chose calm wording instead.
Bright living room interior

If you manage housing, sheltered schemes, or rural rentals where heating types mix, ask us for the installer pack: placement diagrams, tenant leaflets in simple language, and the certification matrix for your country. We would rather over-explain mounting height than under-protect a hallway.
